White Lies played an afternoon set in the sun at 6.15pm (CST) at South By Southwest at the Ceder Street Courtyard today (March 20).

The band played in front of a packed crowd at the outdoor venue, which included a gang of hardcore fans congregated at the front, singing along throughout the set.

Keeping true to their surly image, Harry McVeigh and his band kept chat to a minimum, closing their set with a rapturous rendition of 'Death'.
