White Lies bring 'Death' to Glastonbury
Band play second from the top on John Peel Stage
Harry McVeigh and co played a well-received set in front of large "W" and "L" 3D props, keeping chat to a minimum beyond asking fans if they were having a good time at the Somerset bash.
As well as playing songs from their recent debut album, 'To Lose My Life', they gave 'Taxidermy', the b-side to the single release of the album title track, an airing.
They also played their cover of Portishead's 'The Rip', with McVeigh casting off his black jacket as things heated up inside the tent.
The trio closed their set with an epic rendition of 'Death' then headed offstage to make way for John Peel Stage headliner Jarvis Cocker.
White Lies played:
'A Place To Hide'
'To Lose My Life'
'Farewell To The Fairground'
'From The Stars'
'Taxidermy'
'E.S.T.'
'Unfinished Business'
'Fifty On Our Foreheads'
'Price Of Love'
'The Rip'
'Death'
