White Lies have been confirmed as the main support for Kings Of Leon's huge headline show at Newcastle's St James' Park on May 31.

The show is the opening date of a series of gigs Kings Of Leon will play across the UK this summer. The venue have confirmed that more bands will also be joining the bill soon.

White Lies have already confirmed a handful of UK festival dates this summer, including Truck in Oxfordshire in July and Y Not festival in August.

Kings Of Leon have already been confirmed as headliner's at this summer's Isle Of Wight festival in June. They'll also play dates in Sheffield, Manchester and Glasgow before a huge outdoor show at Milton Keynes Bowl on June 22. They'll be supported at that show by Haim.

The Nashville rockers released their most recent album 'Mechanical Bull' in September 2013, where it went to Number One in the UK's official album chart.
