Troubled star Whitney Houston is to auction off personal items next week.
The singer will be putting stuff up for sale at the A.J. Willnerauction house in New Jersey on Tuesday (January 9).
The items on sale include clothes from designers Dolce and Gabbana, Versace and Armani, plus musical instruments.
The auction takes place after a storage company sued Houston for payment. It is expected to make over a million.
In a statement Houston’s publicist Nancy Seltzer said: “Whitney is selling off at auction old tour equipment that is no longer in use.
“Part of the proceeds will go to pay a debt owed to the storage company in keeping with the court order.”
Seltzer added that it was “not unusual for an artist to sell off old equipments and costumes no longer needed”.
The auction will be open only to bidding on the premises, with no telephone or email bidding allowed and conducted strictly on a cash-in-hand basis, Yahoo reports.
