Whitney Houston, One Direction and 'Gangnam Style' are 2012's top Google searches
All of the search engine's top terms this year were music releated

2012's top Google searches were all music related.
Whitney Houston, who died in February, was the most searched for term on Google this year, whilst Brit boyband One Direction was the top image search on the website.
One Direction bandmember Harry Styles was also the seventh most popular image search.
K-pop chart topping hit and global phenomenon 'Gangnam Style' was the most searched for song, reports BBC News.
Social networking site Facebook has also revealed its most popular trends for 2012, naming the Top 10 most talked about songs in the UK.
The list is headed up by Gotye's 'Somebody That I Used To Know'. Tracks by Rihanna, Jessie J and Fun also make the list.
The full list of the UK’s most talked about songs on Facebook in 2012, is:

8. 'Whistle' - Flo Rida
9. 'Domino' - Jessie J
10. 'Drive By' - Train
