They don't want to stop

Rock veterans The Who are to go on a world tour in 2006.

The band have not toured the world in nearly four years, but aim to put that right next year.

"We plan to visit the USA, Europe, Japan, Australia and also South America," manager Bill Curbishley told Rolling Stone.

The band now features original members Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend backed by bassist Pino Palladino, keyboardist John 'Rabbit' Bundrick, drummer Zak Starkey and guitarist Simon Townshend.

The Who have been working on a new album, on and off for the past decade and are scheduled to go back into the studio in February.
