Wilco frontman announces solo tour

Jeff Tweedy’s on the road again

Wilco frontman has announced he will hit the road in January for his second solo tour in a year.

Tweedy will take a break from recording the band’s sixth studio album to play the shows, which kick off in Memphis on January 16.

The jaunt will see Tweedy taking in the southern states of the US.

The dates are:

Tulsa, OK Cain's Ballroom (19)
Dallas, TX Granada Theater (20)
Marfa, TX Liberty Hall (21)

New Orleans, LA House of Blues (26)
Birmingham, AL Birmingham Theatre (27)
Atlanta, GA The Tabernacle (29)
Knoxville, TN Bijou Theatre (30)
Charlottesville, VA The Paramount Theatre (31)


Wilco’s new album is due for release in May 2007.
