Wilco and Feist team up for Woody Guthrie cover Wilco Tickets

You can download it now

Wilco and Feist have teamed up to record a cover of Woody Guthrie's song 'The Jolly Banker'.

In a statement issued today (May 1), Wilco asked fans to donate a "minimum of two US dollars" to download the song, which will benefit the Woody Guthrie Foundation And Archives.

"We enthusiastically support their good work in promoting and sustaining the legacy and music of Woody Guthrie," they said of the organisation.

Feist reportedly provides percussion on the track. She also duets with Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy on another song, which will appear on the band's forthcoming album, 'Wilco (The Album)', as previously reported.
