Wilco release iPhone application
Wilco have announced the release of their own iPhone application.

The application, which can be downloaded for free on US iTunes beginning today (May 22), allows fans to track the band's tour dates, check out photos, keep up to date on Wilco's latest news, and stream songs and videos.

The application can also be used on an iPod touch. Wilco are following in the footsteps of Nine Inch Nails, who released their own iPhone application earlier this year amidst some controversy, as previously reported.

Meanwhile, Wilco are heading to Europe to kick off their tour in support of their forthcoming album, 'Wilco: (The Album)', which is due out in the US June 30.
