Wild Flag’s Carrie Brownstein to tour her ‘Portlandia’ comedy show

Johnny Marr, Joanna Newsom, St Vincent and Eddie Vedder feature on the show's new series

Wild Flag guitarist/vocalist and former Sleater-Kinney member Carrie Brownstein is set to take her comedy sketch show Portlandia on the road in the United States.

Brownstein and Fred Armisen’s show will start its second series on IFC in the US on January 6. To support the show, the pair will be touring live musical performances and clips from the new season, starting at Portland Hollywood Theatre on December 27 and finishing up at New York Bowery Ballroom on January 21, 2012, reports Pitchfork.

The second series of the show will feature guest appearances from Johnny Marr, Joanna Newsom, Annie Clark of St Vincent and Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam as well as Bridesmaids’ Kristen Wiig, Tim Robbins, Kyle MacLachlan, Miranda July and Jeff Goldblum.

The Portlandia tour will visit:
