Wiley announces UK tour dates - tickets

Wiley has announced details of a UK tour to take place in September.

The rapper, who recently released his latest studio album 'The Ascent', will play seven shows in total including dates in Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Nottingham, Bournemouth. The tour culminates with a homecoming gig in London at Shepherds Bush Empire on September 17. Tickets for all dates go on sale this Friday, April 12, at 9am. 'The Ascent' is Wiley's eighth studio album and features the singles 'Heatwave' and 'Reload'. The grime MC made headlines recently when he threatened to leak the album online after growing frustrated with his record label, Warners. Wiley also revealed that he named the album 'The Ascent' after his friend, and EastEnders actress Meryl Fernandes , came up with the title.
