American rapper and film star Will Smith has used The Clash's 'Rock The Casbah' as the basis for his new single 'Will 2K', set for release on November 8 through Columbia Records.
Taken off Smith's new LP 'Willenium', the main chorus lifts the both vocal and musical melodies from the early eighties original.
'Willenium', the follow-up to 'Big Willie Style' is released on November 16, and features collaborations with Lil'Kim, Jazzy Jeff, Eve, Dru Hill, Jill Scott and Biz Markie.
