Willis Earl Beal has surprised fans with the release of a new album, 'Curious Cool'. Scroll down to hear it in full now.

'Curious Cool' features eight songs and follows the release of 'A Place That Doesn't Exist' in January. Whereas 'A Place That Doesn't Exist' was offered up as an apology for his cancelling a string of European tour dates, Beal has not explained the reason behind the release of the new album.

The Chicago musician was expected to play a string of dates around the continent in February, including one UK date at London's Village Underground on February 18, but cut the lot. Beal followed up the cancellation of his tour by releasing a music video starring actress Mischa Barton, in which she appears as a cult member. The 10 minute long video for 'Coming Through', which features vocals from Cat Power and is taken from last year's 'Nobody Knows' album, sees the former star of The OC as a member of Beal's Church Of Nobody, a cult-like group based in New Mexico.
