Wiz Khalifa has again been busted for marijuana possession, according to reports.

TMZ claims that the rapper - real name Cameron Jibril Thomaz – was booked by the Winston-Salem Police Department of North Carolina last night (May 1) before his concert.

The police apparently found 11.39 grams of marijuana after they searched both the rapper and his tourbus. Thomaz was then released after being cited alongside "other members of his band and staff" but will have to return to North Carolina on July 27 to appear in court.

Last month, on April 21, Thomaz was visited by police at his room in the Holiday Inn in Nashville following reports from other guests of a strong odour of weed, TMZ wrote. When officers arrived at the scene, the hip-hop star allegedly threw his spliff out of the window. The "marijuana cigarette" was later recovered and Thomaz was again served with a citation rather than being arrested after admitting possession.

The rapper has been open and vocal about his marijuana use in the past - and his debut album is titled 'Rolling Papers'. "It’s not just about the weed thing. It’s bigger than that. My career really took off when I started smoking papers," he said when announcing details of the album last year.

These aren't the only legal problems he's faced this year - in January, Thomaz was served with a $2.3 million lawsuit by Maxamillion, who claimed that his hit single 'Black And Yellow' stole elements from his song 'Pink N Yellow'.
