Wolfmother start recording on 'epic' new album
Australian three-piece are at work on second record
Wolfmother have begun work on their second album.
Frontman Andrew Stockdale said that the band is looking to release the as-yet-untitled follow-up to their 2005 eponymous debut next year.
"It's kind of cinematic and it's kind of epic," he told Rolling Stone, "but there’s also this fully aggressive side that’s undeniably explosive."
He added: "Other bands are like 'Yeah, we wrote 60 songs and edited it down to this'. We spend a lot of time on each song, crafting it, changing the key, changing the arrangement and so on. We don’t like to write thousands of songs."
Ten tracks have been completed so far, including 'Back Home'.
