Yeah Yeah Yeahs gain new member

A new guitarist will be joining them

Yeah Yeah Yeahs are to be joined by a fourth member on their upcoming tour.

The trio have enlisted the help of guitarist Imaad Wasif for their six US dates this month.

Wasif has previously played with New Folk Implosion and Lowercase, according to Pitchfork.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ mini US jaunt will call at:

Hoboken Maxwell’s (February 23)
New York Bowery Ballroom (24-25)
Chicago Logan Square Auditorium (27)
San Francisco Bimbo’s 365 Club (March 1-2)


The band will head out on a full US tour in April before coming to Europe in May. These shows include a day curating All Tomorrow’s PartiesThe United States Of ATP event in Camber Sands.

Wasif will be touring with the band for all of the dates.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs are set to release their new album ‘Show Your Bones’ on March 27, which will be preceded by the single ‘Gold Lion’ on March 20.
