Two of rock's best frontwomen team up

Yeah Yeah Yeahs are to release a new single to coincide with their forthcoming UK festival appearances - and Peaches has helped out with the remix.

The New Yorkers put out ‘Cheated Hearts’ on September 4. It’s the third track to be lifted from their new album ‘Show Your Bones’, which recently went gold in the UK.

The track will be available as a download bundle along with new song ‘Thank You Were Wrong’. There will also be a heart shaped 7” with tattoo transfer insert, backed by a Peaches remix.

As previously reported, the video is made up from clips submitted by fans across the world of themselves performing the track, including a few men impersonating singer Karen O.

The band return to the UK for the Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds Festivals, playing the main stage at Reading on August 25 and Leeds the following day. They also play Glasgow's Indian Summer festival in Victoria Park on September 2.
