Yeah Yeah Yeahs singer Karen O's cover of Led Zeppelin’s 'The Immigrant Song' has been released online, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click to hear it.

The cover version has been reworked by Nine Inch Nails maestro Trent Reznor as part of his new score for the US remake of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, with the guitar riffs and heavy drum licks of Led Zeppelin's version replaced with Reznor's trademark dark electronica.

Further details of the score and whether Reznor is working with any other guest vocalists have not been formally confirmed, but were O to appear throughout the album, it would be the second time she had helped create a cinematic score, having written the music for the 2009 film version of Where The Wild Things Are.

The remake, which stars Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara, will be released in UK cinemas in December. It is Reznor's second collaboration with director David Fincher, after he and writing partner Atticus Ross scored 2009's The Social Network, winning an Oscar in the process.
