Yeah Yeah Yeahs and TV On The Radio's Tunde Adebimpe are to play a benefit gig in New York tomorrow night (December 16).
They are teaming up at Brooklyn Bowl to raise funds for DJ Jonathan Toubin, the man behind the New York Night Train parties, who is in a critical condition after a freak accident in Portland, in which a taxi cab crashed into his hotel room.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs will headline the gig followed by performances from Adebimpe's project Stabbing Eastward and The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion frontman's side project Heavy Trash will also perform.
Bear In Heaven and Butthole Surfers' Gibby Haynes will also DJ. For more information head to Brooklyn Bowl's official website Brooklynbowl.com.
Karen O recently revealed that she's been working on a new Yeah Yeah Yeahs album.
The singer also announced that she married video director Barnaby Clay in the last week. Clay directed the moody clip for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs' hit 'Zero' from their 2009 album 'It's Blitz!'
Karen O previously dated director Spike Jonze and Liars frontman Angus Andrew.
