Yeah Yeah Yeahs made an appearance on the Jimmy Fallon show last night (June 19), playing 'Despair' live. Scroll down to watch it.

The band performed the song, which features on their fourth album 'Mosquito', which was released in April. Singer Karen O donned a metallic gold space suit and Michael Jackson T-shirt for the occasion.

Earlier this week it was confirmed that Yeah Yeah Yeahs guitarist Nick Zinner has reunited his college band to release a charity single. Zinner was a member of Challenge of the Future while studying art at Bard College in New York and reformed the band in 2011 as a way of raising funds for the daughter of a classmate who has since passed away. Challenge of the Future are now back together once more and releasing a second charity single, 'You Can't Call Off The Dog'.

Meanwhile, Yeah Yeah Yeahs will play a one-off gig at London's Islington Academy in July prior to their appearance at Latitude Festival. The band will perform at the 800-capacity venue in north London on July 15 prior to their Latitude appearance on July 20. Tickets for the gig go on sale this Friday (June 21) at 9am. The gig will mark Yeah Yeah Yeahs' first London appearance since they curated ATP I'll Be Your Mirror at Alexandra Palace in May.
