Yeasayer plot massive North American tour

They'll hit the road this autumn

Yeasayer have announced that they will embark on a massive tour of North America this autumn.

This will be the band's first headlining tour and will take them from coast to coast. The band have promised to debut "brand new songs not heard on previous North American tours" as well as a "new stage design incorporating projectors, lcd grids, and possibly a weather balloon."

Meanwhile, the band have announced that they will release a vinyl version of their debut album 'All Hour Cymbals' in late fall or early winter. They plan to return to the studio in early 2009 to record their sophomore album.
