Yeasayer play Reading Festival - just

Band have to cut set-list short on last day of bash

Yeasayer played a lunchtime slot on the NME/Radio 1 Stage at Reading today (August 24) - although their set was nearly scuppered by technical problems.

The band had to tinker with their equipment for several minutes before the finally kicked off their set on the final day of the bash, eventually launching into opener 'Wait For Summer' once the technical issues were solved.

Bassist Ira Wolf Tuton gave an ironic victory sign as the band finally began, prompting cheers from the large crowd.

The band only had time to play four songs, although they were well-received, with '2080' even prompting a sing-a-long.
