Yeasayer fans may not have to wait for too much longer for the follow-up to the band's 2010 album 'Odd Blood' - the band are set to hit the studio this summer.
The Brooklyn four-piece have been playing new songs on their current US tour including the track 'The Devil And The Deed', which they debuted on Conan O'Brien's Conan TV show last night (May 23). Watch footage of their performance below.
"We are playing three or four new songs on this tour to fine tune and fix before we head into the studio this summer," the band wrote in an email to fans. "Yes, record Number Three is in the works! Keeping it brief because it should be."
Beyond their current US tour, which wraps up in New York on July 9 the group have no further shows planned - leaving their schedule free to get to work on the new album. They are due to play The Music Box in Los Angeles tonight (May 24).
