Yo La Tengo for Brooklyn pool party
They'll headline McCarren Pool on August 24
Yo La Tengo have been added to the schedule for JellyNYC’s free weekly Pool Parties, and will headline the August 24 show.
The performance is part of a string of free Sunday afternoon shows this summer, many of which reached capacity at the enormous empty pool.
This Sunday’s line-up features Felice Brothers, Langhorne Slim, Eli ‘Paperboy’ Reed and The True Love Deertick, while August 17 will feature Aesop Rock, Panther and Chin Chin.
MGMT and The Black Lips are among the acts to have played free shows at the pool over the past few months, which is in its final year in its current capacity.
