CIRCUS OF PEACE

The rock legend's widow Yoko Ono books space for a billboard poster with the 'Imagine' lyrics on it...

CIRCUS OF PEACE

YOKO ONO has booked a prime advertising space in central LONDON to help promote the message of world peace.

A billboard poster featuring the slogan "Imagine all the people living life in peace" has been erected in Piccadilly Circus. The phrase is taken from her late husband John Lennon's solo anthem 'Imagine', a song that has become synonymous with the pair's campaign for world peace.

The poster, which could be seen by up to one million people per week, will cost an estimated £150,000 for the three months it retains its spot, according to www.mediaguardian.co.uk.

Ono has previously displayed similar posters in her home town of New York, where John Lennon was shot dead in December 1980.
