You Say Party! We Say Die! refused US entry

You Say Party! We Say Die! have been refused entry into US, forcing the cancellation of their tour.

According to a statement, the band from Vancouver have been caught in a red tape nightmare that has led to complications at the Peach Arch border crossing.

You Say Party! We Say Die! decided to chance entry into the US despite unforeseen delays that caused the late filing of the proper paperwork.

Changes to the system were not communicated to the band or management in time.

Subsequent miscommunication between organizations like the American Federation of Musicians, the Vancouver Musicians Association and the US Customs and Immigration Service led to problems with border entry.

The band have yet to announce rescheduled dates.
