YOUNG BUCK PLEADS NOT GUILTY TO ASSAULT CHARGE
YOUNG BUCK has pleaded not guilty to an assault charge after allegedly stabbing a man in November.

The G-Unit rapper is accused of stabbing Jimmy James Johnson, who allegedly punched Dr Dre at the Vibe Awards in California last year.

Young Buck - real name David Darnell Brown - faces up to eight years in prison if convicted, according to authorities.

The star was freed on $500,000 (£257,000) on November 22, a week after the ceremony took place.

As previously reported on NME.COM, the alleged incident took place shortly before Snoop Dogg and Quincy Jones were to present Dre with the Vibe Legend Award.

According to BBC News, Johnson, who suffered a collapsed lung following the stabbing, pleaded not guilty to an assault charge for allegedly hitting Dre in the face after asking for an autograph.

Brown is set to appear in court again on February 18, when a date is expected to be arranged where it will be determined if there is enough evidence for a trial.
