Young Knives to write book
Oxford-based band also thinking about album number three
Young Knives are working on a book about theirs - and other people's - touring experiences.
The Oxford-based trio say they want to paint a picture of the touring scene as a whole - talking to groups, roadies and other people in the industry.
Speaking to BBC 6music, singer/guitarist Henry Dartnall explained: "We're doing an almost-word-of-mouth history of touring bands with a bit of us in there, but just tying it together with our own experiences if we think any of them are interesting enough.
"We're hopefully going to meet up with people who have good stories, not just people in bands, roadies and stuff."
The band said they were not sure when the book might hit shelves - or whether they will actually finish it.
"Somebody said, did we wanna do a book?," Dartnall continued. "We thought, 'Only if we can think of a good idea'. We've come up with an idea and sort of began, but we'll see if we ever actually finish it."
He added that the band were working on their third album between live commitments.
"We're writing our third album at the moment," he said. "The way we do it seems to be pretty much nine-to-five on Monday to Friday, and then at the weekend we go and do festivals - so it's like we're working seven days a week."
