The Futureheads and The Automatic are among special guests

Yourcodenameis:milo were joined by an all-star cast to bring their 'Print Is Dead' collaborations project to life last night (November 2).

The Tyneside rockers were joined by The Automatic, Ross Millard from The Futureheads, Lethal Bizzle, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, Field Music and Tom Vek for a special one-off performance.

The launch, held at club night Another Music = Another Kitchen at Camden Proud Galleries, saw the place packed out, with over 100 people stuck waiting outside the venue, listening out for a little bit of rock history.

The 'Print Is Dead' project saw Yourcodenameis:milo invite a bunch of their friends to their studio with the mission to write and record an original song in 24 hours.

Each artist performed their own song with the hosts, who then played the single 'Wait A Minute', which they wrote with Gordon Moakes from Bloc Party, who was unable to attend.

Last night’s setlist was:

‘Tiny Vessels’ (with Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly)
‘The Trapeze Artists’ (with The Automatic)
‘Roots/Branches’ (with Tom Vek)
‘I Remember The Summer Isles’
‘Deborah Bow’ (both with and Field Music)
‘Ordinary Day’ (with Lethal Bizzle)
‘Wait A Minute’

Meanwhile 'Print Is Dead Vol 1' is out on Monday (November 6).
