GONZO TAKES THE LOWE ROAD

Zane Lowe and MTV2 go on the road with Britain's hottest young bands...

GONZO TAKES THE LOWE ROAD
MTV2's show GONZO is to tour the country showcasing new bands.

Zane Lowe will host a series of gigs from up and coming acts at Barfly locations around the UK. Each performance will be recorded for future broadcast on Gonzo November 24-30 at 5.30pm.

Bands including Hot Hot Heat, Franz Ferdinand, Soulfly and Snow Patrol will play live.

Zane Lowe said: "It's great to have so many exiting British bands on board such as Funeral For A Friend, Futureheads, Soulfly and Snow Patrol. Sadly, new government trade laws now stipulate that we have to 'include the Canadians' so Hot Hot Heat and Billy Talent are tagging along too, but that's fine with me."

The tour calls at:
Cardiff Barfly (October 25) - Funeral For A Friend, Million Dead, Kingsway, Billy Talent
London (26) - Electric Soft Parade, The Hiss, Razorlight
Liverpool (31) - Hot Hot Heat, Franz Ferdinand, The Fiery Furnaces
York (November 1) - Blueskins, Futureheads, The Beatings
Glasgow (2) - Snow Patrol plus guests
