ZOMBIES CHEW UP BILLIE AND WESTLIFE

The perennial chart-toppers are likely to be pipped to the post this time...

ZOMBIES CHEW UP BILLIE AND WESTLIFE
The trance anthem 'KERNKRAFT 400' from ZOMBIE NATION is expected to beat both Billie Piper and WESTLIFE to Number One next week, according to HMV.

The music retailers have predicted a close battle for the singles released next Monday (September 18), with the pop heavyweights beaten off by the dance track that clubbers have been using as the ring for their mobile phones.

A spokesman for HMV said: "We feel quite strongly that Zombie Nation will be Number One, with Westlife at Number Two, Modjo coming down to Three, and Billie Piper coming in at Four or Five. I think it will be a week that they're all going to do very well, in another week they could all have been Number One, but Zombie Nation is such a big club tune."[/b]

Billie Piper, who releases 'Something Deep Inside', the second single from forthcoming album'Walk Of Life', hit the top slot with previous single 'Day & Night', while Westlife have entered at the top with all of their singles to date.

Other predictions for top ten entries include R&B singer Pink with 'Most Girls', the follow-up to 'There You Go', and Anastacia with 'I'm Outta Love', which has already been a hit all over Europe.[/b]

Tipped for new entries within the top 20 are American rock acts Foo Fighters with 'Breakout' and Green Day with their comeback single 'Minority'.
