The single, which came up after the movie's star Michael Jordan asked Kelly to compose a song for the soundtrack, was composed while Kelly was on a tour with The Notorious BIG "I Believe I Can Fly" reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, and No. 1 on the UK pop charts.
