He prepared and presented weekly televised music programs for local broadcasting companies in Kayseri. In 1999, he passed the entrance exam for Kayseri Anatolian Fine Arts High School-admitted to the school as the most successful student. Here he received training in Western Music. In 2003, he was accepted to ITU State School of Art for Turkish Music, Department of Basic Studies, as the most successful student. He started taking oud lessons from instructors such as Osman Nuri Özpekel and Mehmet Bitmez. Upon his arrival in Istanbul, he received oud lessons from Yurdal Tokcan. In 2004, along with Bilen Işıktaş and Sami Dural, he formed the band '3DEM'. In 2004, he was accepted to TRT Istanbul Radio Youth Chorus by showing exceptional success.
