Maddy Curtis Sings for Haiti - Benefit 1/31/10 video

On January 31, 2010, Loudoun County's Maddy Curtis sold out two houses at Franklin Performing Arts Center in Purcellville, VA in a benefit for the people of Haiti. After hearing the firsthand account of Carolyn Kruger, a World Vision representative who was in Haiti when the earthquake struck, a generous community donated almost 9000.00 for Haiti relief efforts. World Vision is a Christian charitable organization with a 30-year history of ministering to the women and children of Haiti and an infrastructure including 400 workers already in place. With over 150000 deaths and millions homeless, the rebuilding of Haiti will take many, many years and sacrificial giving from everyday people like us. This video is Maddy's invitation to you to join in supporting the people of Haiti by donating at bit.ly ~~~~~~~~~~ Many thanks to all who helped make Maddy Sings for Haiti possible: Ann Stewart (producer), Jeff Stern (Franklin Park director), Tom Sweitzer (host), Cuong Hung Van (piano accompanist), Jack Pugh (guitar accompanist), Carolyn Kruger (World Vision), Pam Schoppert (concessions).
