Eurovision 1971 - Spain video

Karina performing "En un Mundo Nuevo" ("In a New World"), the Spanish entry at the 1971 Eurovision Song Contest. Like winner Monaco and 3rd-place Germany, runner-up Spain's entry was also a truly memorable song with an inspirational message sung by a strong female voice, although this one has a more cheery rhythm once the chorus kicks in. But why do I personally prefer the much more restrained intro - esp. the lyrics, which I find particularly moving?
