It endeavours to depict love in a homosexual relationship, whilst trying to steer away from the prescribed notions and stereotypes often portrayed in the media. It shows different stages of the relationship in flashbacks, as well as the grief process shown in current time, and set in a church. Whilst the performer sings, the mourners are frozen in time. Suspended animation suggests a larger narrative in a space of a single incident. It allows the viewers to focus on the emotion of the scene. The images created are employed to great effect to lure viewers who are motivated to draw their own conclusions on the relationships between the performer and the mourners.
