Both Von D and DJ Madd made quite a stir in the Dubstep and surrounding scenes last year, both emerging out of nowhere bringing with them their unique twist on the sound, DJ Madds EP on Boka Records Better With You EP exposed his music to a larger audience and he has since gone on to record a guest mix for SKREAMs Stella Sessions show on Rinse FM and perform regular gigs around Europe. Von D has been heavily involved with Black Acre Records and Argon Records from the USA and has also been supported heavily by SKREAM as he was also drafted in for a Stella Sessions guest mix. For BOKA026 we see the results of some special collaborations between these two artists, deep bass heavy melodic and ultimately danceable beats which have received support from DJs like Caspa and Emalkay alongside regular plays on Rinse & Sub FM.
