I Lost my Girl from Memphis - Hot Antic Jazz Band 2004 Recorded in Nimes, France during the band's 25th anniverary. Guests are Robert Bichon tuba, Jean Louis Le Roux drums, Jean Francois Guyot washboard, Daniel Huck alto sax, Jean Francois Bonnel tenor saxophone At the end of the tune pianist Martin Seck is joined by former pianists Gilles Berrut and Stephane (Groucho) Matthey for an rotating piano solo. Gilles Berrut, the band's first pianist was the first to sing this tune and had it renamed "La Poule" which was also the title of one of their first LP's in 1979. After Gilles vocal Daniel Huck steps forward and does one of the most amazing scat chorusses I ever heard. What a musician! Also the saxophone solos by Bonnel and Huck are outstanding.
