BSM RPA Major with EVH 5150 iii video

Real yngwie owned strat! Demonstrating how the BSM RPA Major works great for fattening up single coils with an already overdriven amp. The amp is the EVH 5150 iii on the crunch channel (ie channel 2, blue) with the gain on about 6/10. All the tone controls are on about 1/10. I find this gets rid of the modern fuzzy sound and puts it more in Blackmore territory. I also love the amp with the tones set to about 5/;10 but was going for a more Blackmore type sound in this instance. The video is intended to demonstrate how well the pedal works with an already overdriven sound without the clipping problems that a lot of pedals have. I have surprised myself how Blackmore ish I have got this amp to sound. It is of course capable of totally different sounds as well. Obviously it does the van halen tone really well.The clean channel with the gain all the way up can sound very plexi on the edge. check out our new album www.youtube.com cheers folks
