Lena with Satellite at the Eurovision Opening Ceremony 2012 in Baku video

During the eurovision opening ceremony 2012 Lena Meyer-Landrut, winner of the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest, performs yet another Lena-like version of her winner song Satellite. The ceremony took place on 2012-01-25 in Buta Palace, Baku. Topics of this ceremony were the handing over of the symbolic key of the Eurovision Song Contest, the semi-final allocation draw, and logo/symbol/slogan presentation. Performances from well known eurovision people Ruslana, Safura, Aysel, Lena, Alexander Rybak and of course, Ell&Nikki rounded up the event. Representatives of the European Broadcasting Union (ЕВU), foreign guests, officials, representatives of the diplomatic corps, cultural figures and art workers as well as other officials of the contest attended the ceremony. The show was aired live in webstreams as well as on TV-stations like iMusic1 and Ictimai TV.
