I'm playing Crazy Train (Ozzy Osbourne), The Number of the Beast (Iron Maiden), Cowboys from Hell (Pantera), Electric Eye (Judas Priest), Angry Again (Megadeth), Still of the Night (Whitesnake), Running with the Devil (Van Halen), Enter Sandman (Metallica), Ace of Spades (Motörhead), Iron Man (Black Sabbath), Rock you like a Hurricane (Scorpions), plus Sweet Child o' Mine (Guns N' Roses).... I picked the top eleven guitar riffs largely based on what guitar backing tracks I can find on the internet and as well the music that I'm familiar with. I started playing guitar in the era of Classic Rock and back in those days, a lot of these songs could be considered 'heavy metal', although nowadays I don't know what's what with so much different types. (I may not call Sweet Child o' Mine heavy metal either, but I threw it in at the end as an outro while the credits roll.) I am playing an Ibanez RG350DX through a Pod GX device which records straight to computer. The guitar track is then overlaid to the backing track and the mixdown is dubbed into the video.
