Pierre Akendengue - Ndyelee Tour D'Afrique Gabon (Africa) video

The song 'Ndyelee from the 2002 compilation album 'Tour D'Afrique' by Gabonese musician Pierre Akendengue. He has been singing since the 1960's. He left his homeland at the age of 22 to continue his education in France and enrolled at the Petit Conservatoire run by the famous French singer Mireille. In the 1990's he toured Africa with the Senegalese singer Ismaël Lô and often collaborates with both European and African musicians. Akendengué uses his music to highlight human suffering and injustices across Africa.
