Lipad ng Pangarap and We Are The Reason; Hand Mime video

When I was told that I would direct the presentation of our offices annual hosting of the Departments flag-raising ceremony, I was quite vexed because I know it would be hard for me to direct my sluggish officemates. The first dilemma that popped in my mind is that my officemates, especially the guys, are hesitant to stage a song or dance number because no one among us is really gifted with vocal prowess or dancing skills therefore, all of them are reluctant to either sing or dance. So, I found myself in the drawing board and thought hard of something which we can present without having them show their faces to the audience. After much pondering and thru the help of divine intervention (?), I thought that a hand-mime number would be perfect for my bashful officemates; a dark room, their whole body and face covered with only their immaculately white hands showing. Second predicament was which song to use. Since the theme of the program is hardwork and service, I chose Gary Valencianos Lipad ng Pangarap which blatantly mirrors the sacrifices and dedication of our workforce. Moreover, in the light of the Christmas season, I also opted to do a second song, We Are The Reason, also by Gary. Lastly, I decided to only have the girls in the presentation since they are easier to teach than the guys.
