Comedy meets the Symphony Orchestra! video

Comedian, conductor and pianist Rainer Hersch conducts the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra at Centennial Hall, Hobart, Australia. Based in London, Rainer Hersch has conducted orchestras from Australia to St Petersburg. In March 09 he hosted and conducted the Philharmonia Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall, London in a gala comedy concert for Comic Relief with special guests Alfred Brendel, Nicola Benedetti, Dame Evelyn Glennie and Paul Lewis.
