The Zoot : 'Eleanor Rigby' - music video

A live version of Eleanor Rigby performed by the Zoot on GTK. The Zoot is an Australian band that were together from 1968 to 1971. This clip is their 1970 cover of the Beatles classic 'Eleanor Rigby' After the band split up, lead singer Darryl Cotton went onto a successful solo career in Australia while guitarist Beeb Birtles (on the right in this clip) became a founding member of Little River Band. Probably the most successful was Rick Springfield (on the left in this clip) who went to the US and had numerous hit singles including 'Jessie's Girl' and also beame a soapy star in 'General Hospital'.
