A little something I put together in homage of Henna and the art of applying Henna, as I have always been fond and intrigued by it. It is generally used in Asian & African countries. Henna is extracted from a type of tree named Lawsonia. When the leaves are dried and mixed with boiling water it stains the skin with a special colour. Henna is also used as an Ayurvedic medicine in the form of lotions & ointment. It is an antiseptic, anti-irritant, astringents, antibacterials, antifungals, antispasmodics, antipyretics , topical sunscreens, antiperspirants.
