"Cancion del Fuego Fatuo" by Manuel de FALLA, interpreted by Jean Marie RAYMOND video

Full of mistery, the "Cancion del Fuego Fatuo" by Manuel de Falla is a part of "El amor brujo". El amor brujo is a ballet-pantomime written on scenario by Gregorio Martinez Sierra, for chamber orchestra and cantaora in 1915, and revised for symphony orchestra and mezzo-soprano in 1916. Originally El amor brujo is a " musical gypsy story" in 16 paintings for chamber orchestra and cantaora (singer of flamenco); it is a pantomime danced with dialogues and songs the spirit of which is close to The History(Story) of the soldier of Stravinski. Falla composes it at the request of Pastoria Imperio, then considered as one of the biggest dancers of flamenco. This music has been played on an "Ebanista Magnum" guitar by Stephan SCHLEMPER : www.schlemper.com
