Fields of Athenry (Ukulele cover) video

Beautiful song, learnt a lot about Traditional Irish music whilst playing in Irish band 'Shoot the Crow' (check them out if your in Cornwall/Devon, great band). It's set during the Great Irish Famine about a guy who has been sentenced to transportation to Botany Bay, Australia, for stealing food for his starving family. This is my interpretation of The Fields of Athenry... Oh and excuse the strange facial expressions I had a small squirel in my pants. Original piece written by Pete St. John. Gear Used: Ohana SK-35G Soprano Ukulele. Toneport UX2, Adobe Audition 3 Editing - Stuck some reverb on the vocals and uke, and put a second vocal track on the chorus. srs-45

Running time: 01:48
