One of my most successful productions: released in 1966, written by Bobby Hebb, this became a monster hit for all concerned, in addition to being covered countless times by others. A wonderful collaboration with Ashford & Simpson and Melba Moore providing the background vocals, along with Academy Award-winning arranger Joe Renzetti (The Buddy Holly Story). BMI notes that "Sunny" is in the top 25 of 21st Century of all-time hits and there are over 502 cover versions of this classic song. Video directed by Wedigo Watson, with Jerry Ross Productions
