King Tut's Spirit Drum Song from the CD Tears of Isis - Musical Visions of Egypt video

King Tut's "Spirit Drum Song" is an evocation of ancient Egyptian drumming and percussion music. Most of what is known today about Egyptian music is based on musical instruments recovered by archeologists, and also images within paintings, hieroglyphics, and carved figures. Some ancient literary sources, the Greek historian Herodotus among them, relate that the pyramids were constructed using levitation of the stone blocks. In addition, some contemperary esoteric writers have discussed the ancient harnessing of sound energy to move objects.... This piece envisions a group of ancient Egyptian drummers gathered in the spirit world who are celebrating the triumphs of Egyptian civilization. This is a new track of the upcoming CD "Ancient Egyptian Music" by Jeffrey Goodman. It will be available on iTunes, Amazon, and CD baby in the near future.
